West Ham were due to host Watford on March 12 but their victory over Blackburn and the Hornets’ 1-0 win against Leeds mean that match will now be moved due to the Hammers’ trip to face Manchester United.
London rivals Crystal Palace were due to head to Old Trafford on the same day but they will now be facing a trip to Reading on Friday night for their sixth round cup tie. Chelsea were also set to be on the road in the Premier League the following day with a Super Sunday trip to Anfield on the cards but that will now also be postponed as well due to Chelsea’s FA Cup tie at Everton. Arsenal’s 5:30pm kick off at home to West Brom on March 12 has also bitten the dust just four days before the game was due to take place after Arsene Wenger’s men thumped Hull. That means Tottenham are the only London side in Premier League action this weekend as they travel to rock-bottom Aston Villa.
Postponed Premier League matches this weekend:
Manchester United v Crystal Palace
Sunderland v Everton
West Ham v Watford
Arsenal v West Brom
Liverpool v Chelsea
