Madrid look to close out the group stage with a win
With top spot - and a home second leg in the last 16 - already secured, Real Madrid round off Champions League Group A against Malmö at the Bernabéu (8:45pm CET). And the Whites will be aiming to continue on from the good form shown in their exceptional first-half display against Getafe on Saturday, and in the process rack up a fifth straight win.
A victory over the Swedish outfit would also see Real Madrid seal a 100% home record in the group stage for a third consecutive season. Copenhagen (4-0), Juventus (2-1) and Galatasaray (4-1) were the victims in Madrid's la Décima-winning campaign two years ago, while last term Basel (5-1), Liverpool (1-0) and Ludogorets (4-0) came away from the Spanish capital empty-handed.

MADRID WILL ADVANCE AS GROUP WINNERS FOR THE SIXTH TIME IN THE LAST SEVEN SEASONS.
Rafa Benítez has named a 19-man squad as the Whites bid to get that win. Marcelo, back from injury, and Isco, who has been serving a suspension in La Liga, are the major new faces. One name also on the list is that of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Champions League's leading scorer this season with seven, the Portuguese ace has netted in each of his last three Madrid appearances.
Battling for a Europa League spot
It's a crunch clash for Malmö who, following on from their debut campaign in 2014/15, bring their second ever involvement in the tournament to a close. Level on points with Shakhtar Donetsk, the Swedes will be fighting it out to finish third and claim the group's Europa League berth. To achieve that, they need to better Shakhtar's result at Paris Saint-Germain.
The encounter will also see Age Hareide, who led Malmö to the Swedish title in 2014, take charge of his final game as coach of the club, after his announcement that he is to step down from the position at the end of this month.
