According to Marca Zinedine Zidane has signed a two-and-a-half year deal to become Real Madrid's first ever French head coach.
Pending a decent run of results, the Frenchman already has the Bernabeu faithful on his side. Florentino's decision was made all the easier due to Zizou's charismatic personality and track record at the club. The move to install the Frenchman also appears to thrill fans, who had lost faith in Benítez, and players, who had in recent games looked towards the directors' box for change.
