U-23 Orphans: We wash and wear training kits- Siasia

 

All is not well in the camp of the U-23 Eagles and the Head Coach Samson Siasia has described the entire team as orphans over their neglect by the Nigeria football body.

In an exclusive interview with www.footballlive.ng Siasia revealed that the Dream Team VI who are expected to feature at the 2015 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations have not resumed full camping.
Siasia informed that only 10 players were present in camp and despite the failure of paying the players’ bonuses, the team also wash and wear their kits because the football Federation has failed to provide them with training kits.
” They appoint coaches and fire them when they want. I need to grant interviews the way I see fit because of the way things are. We are like orphans; the U-23 team,” Siasia fired.
” The don’t pay us even the bonuses after we qualified We’ve not been paid our allowances. The home based Eagles played a draw, and got 2 thousand, and they keep saying they don’t have money.”
